What with Helvetica celebrating its fiftieth this year , Gary Hustwit’s dedicated documentary film and the current upsurge in typographic motion works, it appears that typography, the bastion of graphic design, is experiencing somewhat of a return to interest.
I had the priviledge to film and interview Wim Crouwel earlier this year. The learning curve is steep when you pass a morning in company with a passionate mind in the realm of the printed word. So, I was really happy to come across this video on Pentagram’s Paula Scher.
